We’re delighted to be launching TeenShed, our new multigenerational pilot project hopefully in late March 2026 in collaboration with Orkney Men’s Shed and Developing the Young Workforce (DYW).
TeenShed is a safe, supportive space for young people age 16-20 who have left education and haven’t yet found their next step. It’s a place to learn through doing — building practical skills, confidence and connection through hands-on projects alongside encouraging adult mentors.
Young People:
If you’d enjoy practical, project-based activities in a welcoming environment where you are respected and supported, we’d love to hear from you.
Volunteers:
We’re also looking for patient adults willing to share skills, time and encouragement. Your steady presence could make a real difference.
